Criminal Investigations

Responsible for the preparation of all gross misdemeanor and felony cases. Sergeant Derek Nelson is the unit supervisor and oversees Investigator Tom Adler, Investigator James Aase, two additional officers/investigators, and the assigned Anoka-Hennepin Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force Detective.
