ACE Solid Waste - New Recycling Service Provider
REMINDER: Effective April 1, 2021, ACE Solid Waste, Inc. will be the new residential recycling service provider for Anoka city residents, both single family and multi-family properties. The current residential recycling contract with Republic Services, Inc. expires on March 31, 2021.
Cart Distribution: March 15-26
ACE is busy delivering the new recycling carts and containers to both single family and multi-family properties between
March 15-26. With your cart, recycling information and the service calendar will be included, plus information about the free app and WasteWizard tool. Pay close attention to the service calendar provided and note if you receive the red or black service schedule - then follow that schedule.
Please begin using the new ACE carts/containers on April 1, 2021. Republic Services will do their final recycling service the week of March 22. They will then come back and pick up the blue recycling carts that week. Please leave the blue cart out and keep it empty after your last service date, until the truck picks it up. In some cases it may take a day or two between the last service date and the removal date.
Information can be found at
anokaminnesota.com, including the
WasteWizard from Ace Solid Waste to help with questions about how to dispose of materials (recycle it or trash it). Plus there is a schedule tool to help you search your address to learn of your service schedule.
Download the
free MyACETrashMN app for your Android device or iPhone and never forget your recycling collection day again!
- Ace Solid Waste - 763-427-3110 - Call if your new black cart was not received by April 1st.
- Republic Services - 952-941-5174 - Call if your blue cart was not removed by April 2nd.
Together, we strive to make this a seamless transition. We thank both companies for their service to the City of Anoka.
This change is only for recycling - it does not affect your garbage or yard waste service.
REMINDER: Please DO NOT put plastic bags in the recycling carts - they cause contamination. Place your acceptable recyclable materials LOOSE in your recycling cart.
Thank you.
