Redesign and construction of the Champlin Substation is getting closer to being completed!
This includes updated relaying protection, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) infrastructure, new fence design, and new aggregate. These designs will greatly improve safety and reliability of that substation.
Also, we are continuing to work on our South and 6th Street Infrastructure Renewal Project with conversions to underground utilities. Crews are also working over by Anoka Technical College, on the West end of our system, for preparations on the Hwy 10 Project coming up in 2021.
