Anoka city residents, on Friday, Aug. 30th, City of Anoka crews will concentrate their initial storm damage clean up with the removal of damaged boulevard trees and the tree debris impacting the roadways.
The City of Anoka will assist its residents with storm clean up next week by picking up tree debris placed on the boulevard. Tree debris pick up will begin at 7am on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd and will end at 3pm on Friday, Sept. 13th (updated from Sept. 6th).
Please cut branches and brush into sections
that are no longer than 4 feet in length and pile debris in an orderly fashion on the boulevard. Please do not block sidewalks.
City staff will not enter private property to remove tree debris and will not be picking up trash or other personal items damaged in the storm.
Please call 763-576-2980 or email publicservices@ci.anoka.mn.us to put your address on the list to ensure your tree debris is collected next week.
